Bonnie Bramlett

Bramlett’s guitar is constructed of Curly Bubinga with a bear claw Sitka
Spruce top. Bonnie selected this
wood because the beautiful curl looks like long, flowing hair.
Dave knew this wood would work well for her guitar because the tonal
quality of it supports her strong, vibrant vocal style.
The abalone pearl herringbone purfling adds a unique
jewel-like touch. The angel is
constructed of a variety of pearls and prehistoric mastodon ivory.
This inlay design was especially chosen to reflect Bonnie’s singing
style and personality. The peghead angel has her hand raised in the air as Bonnie
does when she sings. Also, the
angel is appropriate to reflect Bonnie’s deep religious conviction and her
truly God-given gift of musical talent.
